QR Ph Digital Payments
Batchmates supports QR Ph payments natively through PayMongo Hosted Checkout.
Native Hosted Checkout Support: QR Ph is included directly in CHECKOUT_PAYMENT_METHODS on PayMongo hosted checkout sessions (PayMongoTransactionService.php:18). When donors choose QR Ph during donation checkout, PayMongo generates a dynamic QR Ph code compatible with GCash, Maya, ShopeePay, and all InstaPay / PesoNet banking apps.
Overview
- Integration Surface: Hosted Checkout (dynamic QR Ph code generation).
- Payment Verification: Webhooks (
checkout_session.payment.paid/payment.paid) re-verify transactions directly against PayMongo's API before completing the donation and updating campaign balances. - No Additional Endpoints Required: Online campaign donations rely on hosted checkout sessions. Standalone static QR codes (
POST /v1/qrph/generate) or MPM QR (/v3/qr/mpm/generate) are not required.
Not to be confused with Campaign Donation QR Codes — a client-generated QR code that just links to a campaign's /donate/:id page (for flyers/posters), scannable with any camera app. QR Ph above is PayMongo's own EMVCo QR, shown only after checkout starts and scannable only from a banking/wallet app.
